Pavement2Catwalk CIC
A social enterprise founded by
Donald Waugh
Inspiring disadvantaged communities through Fashion, Art, Film, Photography and Theatre.
The Founding Idea
Pavement2Catwalk (P2C) aims to realise the ability in disability through the universal language of creativity. A social enterprise, P2C see’s the community taking back control of fashion and design.
P2C recognises disability in four distinct areas – homelessness, addiction, disability and mental health. Uniquely P2C acknowledges that those with these conditions rarely live with one of these challenges alone and explores together and their relationship with each other.
P2C is a way of life, a network, enabling an un-tapped workforce to share their creations through events, fashion profiling and the sale of art from every day people translated into desirable design objects for all walks of society.
P2C Values
Purpose – Creativity – Compassion – Integrity – Rehabilitation – Pride – Collaboration
Donald Waugh
Founded by Donald Waugh, P2C is his brain-child. After rising to stardom as one of the original cast members of Bugsy Malone, Grange Hill and Cats, with over 25 year’s experience, Donald’s passion lies firmly in acting and supporting the arts. Having experienced both sides of success in an industry he loves, Donald’s spent some time volunteering with Crisis, where he got the inspiration to harness creativity to help with rehabilitation.
Whilst working with the homeless over the past 8 year’s, Donald’s greatest reward has been his continued involvement with the arts world from a charity capacity and the potential of combining these two forces. Some of his proudest achievements include being a co-founder of ‘The English club’ and voted ‘Volunteer of the Year 2008’.
Testimonial
“I am amazed at the support I’ve been given so far. People from all backgrounds coming together and working together. It’s truly amazing and I’m so proud.” – Donald Waugh
I have known Donald for 4–5 years. For someone who has gone through so much, and still takes the time to care for others. It’s about real people with disabilities giving them a chance to shine and show the world we are all one.

ACTOR | SINGER
I met Donald in 2018 and he asked me if I would like to take part in a play called SOZO. Pavement2Catwalk has helped me to grow and gain confidence and I now feel I have a future. I am so grateful to Donald and the rest of the P2C company.

Workshops
A few things P2C are great at. Inspiring disadvantaged communities.
Working in the community
Working within the community to inspire disadvantaged communities through Fashion, Art, Film, Photography and Theatre. This brings people together who work as a team to create art.
Performing on the stage
Creativity is a great way to express yourself. There are no mistakes in creativity and people can explore and create whatever they feel within the moment. So why not perform on stage and shine.
Fashion & Art using a mannequin
Watch interview with Donald Waugh
Taking designs created using a mannequin. I then print these designs onto fabric and create garments to be worn and showcase at a Fashion Show taking people from the pavement to the catwalk.
